The POLOPLAST ring

The POLOPLAST ring is a design element that can be used either on its own or in combination with the POLOPLAST logo. It is derived from the “O” in the POLOPLAST wordmark and is intended to symbolise looking through a blue pipe.

When used in combination with the POLOPLAST logo, the ring must be three times the height of the POLOPLAST wordmark. The ring is aligned with the lower edge of the “P” in the POLOPLAST logo. Placement with a centred or top‑aligned POLOPLAST logo is not permitted.
Colour selection
The ring must be displayed in the same colour as the “POLOPLAST” logo and may be shown in blue/grey, black or white, depending on the application and background. Colour selection should always favour the blue ring/logo; if this is not possible, it should prioritise the best possible contrast with the background.
In principle, the ring may be placed on a photograph; however, it must stand out clearly from the background.
Minimum size
The main logo must have a minimum height of 4 mm. When used in combination with the logo, the ring should always be three times the height of the main logo, with a minimum height of 12 mm.

Placement of ring & logo
The POLOPLAST ring may be placed together with the logo along the edge of the document. Both elements must be aligned to the grid or page margin (see section Layout grid), with the ring always positioned in a corner. The logo may be aligned along the edge following the grid lines and may also be rotated by 90 degrees.
The preferred placement is the POLOPLAST ring in the top right corner and the logo along the right-hand edge of the page. Diagonal placement of the ring and logo within the document is not permitted.

Ring as a graphic element
The ring may be used as a background element in white or black (maximum of two rings).
To reduce visual impact, the opacity may be lowered and a soft gradient edge must be applied.

The ring is used in combination with campaign imagery featuring people.

The ring may also be recreated in a stylised form using illustrations (e.g. on the cover of the Sustainability Report). In addition, graphic elements such as diagrams and icons may be represented using the ring.
